Electrical power supply
The electrical power supply and its design form a crucial piece of the puzzle in intelligent project design. As the lifeblood of buildings and facilities, it supplies them. And with the challenges in the electricity market, issues surrounding supply security and the protection of facilities and operational processes are becoming even more important.
Energy supply for buildings and infrastructure
The transformer station or low-voltage main distribution board forms the heart of a building’s or infrastructure’s electrical power supply. The electricity is transported from these central points via electrical power lines, similar to the main arteries in the human body, to the building’s “extremities” and to the end users (organs).
Furthermore, a secure electrical power supply requires emergency power systems (EPS) and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). These are comparable to external life support devices in the human body. They bridge power outages and protect systems by supplying the most important devices (organs) and control systems (brain) with energy even during a blackout.
We plan all of this for our clients with a focus on cost and consumption optimization, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), optimal use of resources and compliance with legal regulations.
